Ladies Bocce Team Competes Again at the 2013 Women's Midwest!

The ladies team from the Highwood Bocce Club competed once again at this year's Women's Midwest Championship in St. Louis. At the end of the annual three-day event our Highwood team was narrowly edged out for the first time in years, by the tournament hosts. The picture here of the official scoring will give you an idea of just how close the tournament proved to be.

Once again, the championship welcomed participants from Chicago (most from Highwood), Kansas City and the home team in St. Louis. The tournament rotates to all three cities, with the Highwood Bocce Club hosting next year's event. The ladies are already looking forward to regaining the cup they've "owned" for several years now...
