Terms and Conditions of Service

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the website operated byHighwood Bocce Club ("us," "we," or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, particularly those purchasing non-tangible goods such as memberships, league fees, and event tickets.
By registering for a membership or purchasing a service, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete, and you are at least eighteen (18) years of age or have parental/guardian consent to enter into this agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Memberships are for a defined term (e.g., annual). You agree to pay the renewal fees upon the renewal date to maintain uninterrupted membership status. If you opt for automatic renewal, you authorize us to charge the applicable renewal fees to your payment method on file.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any membership level, league offering, or event ticket sales without notice at any time. All descriptions of services are subject to change at our sole discretion.
All financial transactions for renewals, fees, and tickets are processed securely through Personify Payments (AffiniPay), the integrated payment gateway of the WildApricot platform. By submitting your payment information, you agree to the terms and conditions of Personify Payments.
Prices for our services are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed.
All purchases are subject to our Refund Policy, which can be viewed at https//highwoodbocceclub.wildapricot.org/Refund-Policy. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the specific refund limitations pertaining to memberships, league fees, and event tickets.
By registering for a league or purchasing an event ticket, you acknowledge that participation involves certain risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in our leagues and events.
All members, league participants, and event attendees must adhere to our organizational Code of Conduct (if applicable). We reserve the right to revoke membership, participation status, or event tickets without refund for violations of the Code of Conduct or disruptive behavior.
We reserve the right to modify league schedules, event dates, times, or locations due to weather, facility availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. Efforts will be made to notify participants promptly of any changes.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality, including all text, graphics, logos, and the WildApricot site design, are and will remain the exclusive property of Highwood Bocce CLub and its licensors.
In no event shall Highwood Bocce Club, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
(i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
(ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
(iii) any content obtained from the Service; and
(iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Lake County, Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lake County, Illinois for the resolution of any disputes.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
